Our Walsall office was recently invited to participate in an "It's a Knockout" competition against other professionals in the town.  The competition on Friday 28th of September was organised by the local HSBC branch.  Very sadly, in the past 12 months three female members of staff have been diagnosed with breast cancer and the event was put on to raise funds for Cancer Research. 

Our intrepid team consisted of Kathryn Balwyn, Christine Wood, Robert Baker Sherman, Paul Hennity, Helen Woodfield and James Evans.  Unfortunately the weather was extremely wet and everyone was glad of the fact that they had taken precautions and brought spare clothing!

The event was a great success and raised in excess of £7000 for this worthwhile cause.  When I asked Helen how we had done, she simply said "don't ask, we didn't come last!"  It is hoped that this will now become an annual event in the Walsall calendar.
