Colemans-ctts runners take part in Great Manchester Run in aid of LUPUS UK
Sixteen members of the Manchester office joined almost 31,000 runners for this year’s Bupa Great Manchester Run on Sunday 18th May.
Roger Coleman led the way crossing the finish line in 00:43:12 and finishing 862nd for the race. The following Coleman’s runners were all tightly packed with times round 50 minutes, with 9 members of staff coming in under the hour. The runners were all taking part to help raise money for LUPUS UK.
Lupus UK are a charity set up to help support Lupus sufferers and assist those approaching diagnosis. You can find out more at www.lupusuk.com. There are a number of people in the office who know people who suffer from the disease and it was felt that because of the personal connection and the fact that in some ways money raised would mean even more to them.
The 10K race, which was started by Manchester United legend Denis Law, snakes its way 6.2 miles from Manchester City Centre up to Old Trafford Football ground and back to the finish line at the Betham Tower. Though the race has been run you can still sponsor us via our 'just giving' website - www.justgiving.com/colemans10k
Congratulations to all who took part.
