Trafford Park Golf Day 2008

The second colemans-ctts sponsored Trafford Park Golf Day took place on Tuesday 3rd June at Davyhulme Park Golf Club. Over 50 competitors took part and, with the morning’s rain having subsided, each three-ball played in a Stableford format to compete for three trophies: The Hardwood Dimensions Trophy for 18 handicap and over, the Great Lakes Trophy for under 18s and the Dr Walton Team Trophy.

This year’s winners were:

Hardwood Dimensions Trophy – Tony Gresty of ASG Services

Great Lakes Trophy – Peter Dugdale of PJD Consulting

Dr Waldon Team Trophy – Beevers & Struthers (Andrew McClaren, Kevin Pickersgill and Neil Peden)

Most important of all, the day raised almost £2000 for Francis House Children’s Hospice. Thanks must go to David Marsden from Hardwood Dimensions, Harry Armitage and David Woodrow from Francis House for their organisation and hard work; and we look forward to seeing all the competitors again next year.
