Caron is the head of Our Clinical Negligence Department, and of our Inquests team.  She is listed as a leader in her field in Chambers & Partners 2009, which recommends her for:

          "her "eminently practical approach"  and her calm demeanour"

She is a Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel member and joined Colemans-ctts from a leading clinical negligence practice.  She has experience of a wide range of medical accidents, but has specialist expertise in fatal accident claims, particularly those involving the death of a baby during labour or post delivery, and in handling birth injuries to baby and mother.  This expertise encompasses providing representation for clients at Inquests.

She has also overseen the development of colemans-ctts dental claims practice area, which now accounts for approximately 20% of the department's case load.

In terms of general practice area development Caron obtained a Legal Aid franchise in clinical negligence for the department in December 2006, and negotiated a bespoke delegated After the Event Insurance scheme for our clincial negligence cases.
