Helen specialises in resolving disputes between neighbours, either boundary issues or nuisance disputes and professional negligence claims. She also has experience in resolving consumer contract disputes.

Given the fact that most of the claims she handle involve neighbours, she always attempts to resolve the case through alternative forms of dispute resolution such as negotiation between the parties, mediation. Whilst it is unlikely that neighbours who have been involved in such a dispute will become friends the chances of avoiding another dispute developing are increased by an amicable settlement. Only if it is not possible to achieve an amicable settlement will a claim go to Court.
