Nolan heads the Travel and Tourism Department. He has many years experience in this field, having  qualified with a niche travel practice before moving to head up the Travel & Tourism Department at colemans-ctts.

He deals exclusively with issues arising out of foreign travel and specialises in high value personal injury claims and complex jurisdictional matters.  He is noted in the Chambers legal directory 2008 as "savvy and dynamic" and as someone who knows "the ins and outs of dealing with foreign jurisdictions".

Nolan has dealt with several high profile travel related cases and is often asked to pass comment in the media on relevant issues because of his expertise. He has also given seminars in the area of travel law.

He also advises travel agents, tour operators and insurers in relation to various issues, including the introduction of systems and processes in managing the recovery of insurer’s outlay.

Nolan and his team have pursued claims in more than 40 jurisdictions worldwide. They are presently pursuing in excess of 500 travel related cases.


Nolan has particular expertise in:

• Pursuing and defending personal Injury claims arising out of incidents abroad
• Contract claims arising out of failures or breaches by holiday organisers or providers.
• Pursuit of insurer’s outlay.
• Advising travel insurers in relation to policy terms and conditions
