Trainees and Placements
We are an innovative legal practice who are constantly challenging the way we do things in order to advance further in the legal field. By joining colemans-ctts you will become part of a team who are dedicated to working together to achieve set goals.
Training Contracts:
As part of our training contract scheme, we encourage you to get to know everyone in the company. Training is very important and we hold a number of in-house seminars on various topics that you are encouraged to go along to. We believe it is important that you qualify as an all-rounder, including how the business side of the practice is managed. To this effect, we incorporate work shadowing an operational/managing partner to develop your understanding further.
We organise our seats on a 6 month rotation. The rotation depends on both your needs and the needs of the practice. We will focus your training contract on you and work with you for the best solution.
We will not be interviewing this year, but will be accepting applications in 2009 for 2010/11 contracts. Application forms should be with us by the 31 July 2009. We invite all prospective trainees to come for an interview and meet the current trainees over lunch. These interviews take place in July/August.

Placements:
We offer week long placements throughout the year for students both from local schools and universities with whom the practice has established links. During this week you will experience what working in a law firm involves and get "hands on" experience. You will be involved in both administrative and fee-earning tasks. If time and circumstances permit we will take you to court, site inspections, mediations, hearings or client interviews. Our aim is to enable you to experience how we work as a team and encourage you to take your studies further.
