How we handle disputes

Where a dispute is received, our Debt Recovery Team will send you details for you to review and comment on.

Our Approach

We will advise you as to the quickest and most cost effective way to resolve the dispute.

This may involve:

• Answering the dispute in correspondence
• Requesting further information from the Debtor about the dispute
• Applying to the Court for Summary Judgment on the basis that there is no arguable defence to your claim
• Negotiating a satisfactorily settlement
• Taking the case to a hearing to decide the dispute

Taking your case forward

Our Debt Recovery Team will advise you on the options and agree with you the appropriate action to be taken and budget.

Complex Disputes

Our Commercial Litigation Teams are on hand to assist with complex cases. All our work is based on pre-agreed budgets and based on guidelines given by the Courts and should be recovered from the debtor subject to assessment by the Court.
