Kat is the Leader of the Colemans-ctts Clinical Negligence team having worked in the Clinical Negligence Department at Shoosmiths in their Birmingham office.
Whilst studying Law at university and undertaking her training contract, Kat worked as a nursing auxiliary within both Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she gained an invaluable insight into how the NHS works.
Kat has a specialist interest in cases arising out of negligent cosmetic surgery and representing families in Coroner’s inquests in relation to both deaths arising out of clinical negligence and those unrelated to clinical negligence but notifiable to the Coroner in any event.
